Meeting started at 6:02pm
New landscaper Curt's Green and Clear Lawn Maintenance started this month. A few of you might already know him as he services your yard. Same type of service but for less.
It is that time of year again to start thinking about a refresh of pine straw. The Entrance at Drive and down by the pool is needed. The quote Curtis provided us is $1,692.57. Vice President Kay also got a quote on pine straw with the intention of it being a neighborhood help party which came to about $1154.25. It's not a hard job and the more people we have to help, the less time it will take. If you would be interested in laying pine straw, please respond to this email and we can try to coordinate a day that works best.
Per our contract, Pool services start 5/17 and end 9/30. Typically we open Memorial Day weekend but we were able to open a week early last year and it seems like we may be able to do the same this year. We will definitely keep you posted on when the pool officially opens.
We have a lot of complaints about traffic and parking on the street. Please be aware of parking and park in your driveway if possible. Parking on the road can be dangerous but also can prevent emergency vehicles and/or school buses from getting through.
The County will be out here soon to repave the road. When they do they are asking that no cars be parked on the street. Any cars left on the street will be towed at your expense.
We have been trying to open a second account for the special assessments to keep operating expenses and assessments for the pool separate. Wells Fargo has been a big headache and has denied our request. We are looking into changing banks.
Our current balance is $31,500. President Erin has graciously put together charts and graphs regarding our finances, as you will see below as well as attached.
Approximately $5k has been raised to date this year for the pool liner through special assessments from 25 households. We are still missing payments from 37 households that were up to date last year. Finally, we have 11 households on some form of a payment plan and 8 households who are not in good standing.
